The entry list of the 44th Rally il Ciocco and Valle del Serchio, the first round of the Sparco 2021 Italian Rally Championship starting on 11 March, contains a 'small' big news.

It will start with the number '110' the Fiat 500 powered by Newtron, the first application of E-tuning compliant with the highway code and the new regulation Racing Start of Aci Sportrecently updated by the Commission Renewable and Alternative Energy chaired by Angelo Raffaele Pelillo, lawyer.

The RS 2021 regulation not only contains the technical and sporting dictates for endothermic engine vehicles, but also provides for the category of retrofit and native electric vehicles and similar categories for hybrid vehicles.

Proof of this is the world's first application of the Fiat 500 powered by Newtron872 cc displacement, 120 hp and an impressive 200 Nm of torque thanks to the application mild Hybrid.

Furthermore, adds Avv. Pelillo: 'Sa data acquisition system is installed on the vehicle in order to prepare a base line for the inclusion in future regulations of balance of performanceaimed at reducing CO2 emissions in motorsport".

It is the first debut of a Newtron vehicle in the competitions of Aci Sportbrought to the race tracks by NMD acronym for (NEWTRON MOTORSPORT DEPARTMENT), a division of the Newtron Group specialising in motorsport and e-tuning.
