12 June 2024A weekend of great excitement is about to be experienced by Sicily and with it motor racing fans. The prestigious Coppa Florio returns to the island's tracks after many years. To host the event, the Pergusa racetrack, which has returned to its former glory after the renovation of the grandstands.
A 12-hour race divided into two days, six on Saturday and six on Sunday, which will feature many drivers from all over the world. Many prestigious brands will be competing, from Ferrari to Lamborghini, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, up to Volkswagen and Honda. On the grid of the Enna circuit, on board a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, will be Walter Palazzo.
The driver from Santa Venerina, fresh from podiums in the Porsche Carrera Cup, first at Imola, then Vallelunga, wants to do well at Pergusa as well. A very demanding two days with Gran Turismo, Turismo, Prototipo and teams of all origins at the start, ready to do battle. Together with Palazzo, in the "Enrico Fulgenzi Racing" team there is the Argentinean Pablo Otero, the Dutchman Jeroen Bleekemolen and another Sicilian, the Palermo-born Giosuè Rizzuto.
